On the tools again and loving it. This week’s challenge – We have been asked to manufacture two rather large corbels for a restoration/overhaul project on a church in Petone Wellington. We have no plans or architects' drawings to go by, just a one and only photo which is fuzzy. With a bit of planning, pattern making and a faithful SCM overhead router, bandsaw and a skillful hand we set to work. The large corbels are 900mm long X 270mm wide. Made from H3.2 treated NZ Pine.
